Week 5

Journal begin June 22, 2025. 8:46pm

My fellow Americans,
Today I'm not here to promise you a new dream. I'm here to honor the one we already have. There is real peace, fair justice, and respect for every person in this world. We are lucky to live here. I don't take this world for granted, and neither should you.

Our kids don't have to worry about anything as they grow up because their schools are safe places to learn and grow. Our seniors are taken care of and not left behind. Our employees get more than just a wage. We built this world together, heart to heart, and brick by brick.

But don't get it wrong, keeping the world perfect isn't about being satisfied with how well things are going. Protecting the principles that made us who we are kindness, fairness, duty, and unity are important. I'm not running for President of this great world to change who we are. I want to make what we've made stronger. With strength, knowledge, and love, to keep us going forward.

I think there should be a world where everyone is seen. The child's quiet voice can still be heard there. Where the value and respect of an artist, a scientist, a worker, and a teacher are all the same. I believe in a government that listens to its people, not because it is powerful, but because it is humble. One that helps, not one that commands.

We will continue to make sure that no one goes through the cracks while I am in charge. We will put even more money into making sure our neighborhoods are healthy. We will always care about mental health, use clean energy to keep the air and seas clear, and keep education as the key to every dream. We will help all kinds of families, give our kids real chances, and celebrate how rich each culture and voice are in our global society.

We're not going to let apathy take over our lives. We need to keep working, being aware, and caring. The world we live in now wasn't made quickly. It was built by people who have dared to believe in a better future. You carry that spirit with you. You, the people who teach, fix, come up with new ideas, and are there for each other when it matters. You are what keeps this world going.

I see a future where kindness and new ideas continue to go hand-in-hand, and we reach even higher, not to beat other people, but to lift them up with us. I dream of a world where people use their power to help those who are weak, where freedom never comes at the cost of another person, and where progress is measured not by what we build but by how we treat each other.

I'm not running for president because I want to be in charge. I'm running because I want to keep the peace. I believe in you because I do. Please be polite. In how smart you are. In your heart.

Don't go backwards. Don't forget the journey that got us here. We should be strong in our togetherness, our goal, and our hope. There isn't just one leader who made the world perfect; millions of people do nice, fair, and respectful things every day.

Let's keep going, shall we? Let's look out for this world we love. Let's do more than just hold on to the dream. Let's live it, teach others, and pass it on.

Thank you. May love, peace, and fairness lead our every move.

Imagine a perfect world. Now describe it.

Catapult yourself into the future into any career or life you can imagine. Describe it in full detail. Now, consider what prevents you from making that dream a reality? In that future ideal world, describe a typical day for yourself. Imagine people you meet, things you do, how you live. Be both descriptive and chronological.
