Dear Audrey Cohen,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. Your legacy goes on through the unique and empowering model of Purpose-Centered Education. As a student at MCNY, I want to thank you for your vision and dedication to making an educational system based on purpose, service, and making a difference in the real world.

Your model has had a huge impact on how I think about learning not as a passive transfer of information, but as an active, purposeful process that links academic work with making a positive difference in the world. Having a central purpose and a constructive action project for each term has helped me stay grounded in real problems in my community while giving me the practical and analytical skills to solve them.

This method has not only helped me do better in school, but it has also given me a stronger sense of direction and duty. I now see education to give people power not just for my own benefit, but also to help others. I'm very thankful for that.

Along the same lines, I think your plan could be even better in a few ways. Purpose-Centered Education supports learning by doing, but some students, especially adults who have jobs, may find it hard to balance the demands of Constructive Action with their families and jobs. This problem could be solved by giving students more options for how to meet those standards. For example, community partnerships or hybrid formats could help without hurting the program's integrity.

Also, making mentorship options easier to find could be very helpful for students. Students could get more help and inspiration as they pursue their Purpose if they were regularly connected with alumni or professionals in the areas that interest them.

Audrey, your idea of higher education has changed everything about it. It was clear to you that students didn't just need certificates; they also needed meaning, purpose, and control. I'm proud to be a part of the family tree of your work, and I can't wait to see how MCNY keeps growing while staying true to your ideals.

Best regards,
